Vegan Tzatziki

Top it on gyro, falafel, nachos, sandwiches, veggies or even spread it on warm pita bread… you can eat this classic Greek appetizer on almost anything! This is a veganized version that tastes just like the authentic one. It’s delicious and it’s super simple to make! Try it with our Vegan Gyro Recipe.


Makes 1.5 cups of tzatziki

  • 1 cup plain vegan yogurt
  • 1/4 cucumber (grated)
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  1. Combine all the ingredients into a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  2. Stir together.
  3. Pour into a serving dish, cover tightly, and refrigerate for up to 1 hour before serving.

It tastes even better if you refrigerate overnight! OPA! :)
